SummaryNutiteq's native-mobile technology will help expand CartoDB’s enterprise offering and deliver multiplatform SDK and innovative location intelligence applications.
CartoDB, a world leading company for location intelligence, data analysis and visualization, today announced the acquisition of Nutiteq, a mobile mapping software development company with more than 15 million unique installations of their SDK, and a roster of clients that includes SeatGeek, LonelyPlanet, iRobot and Accenture, among others.
This acquisition will allow CartoDB to offer a crossplatform mobile mapping SDK, with a core rendering engine that complements its geoanalytics capabilities.
