About EcoHack

EcoHack 2014 is the organization’s third hackathon, and the first to be globally organized and hosted in three countries simultaneously. Its goal is to bring together a diverse group of people—including scientists, hackers, designers and anyone concerned about the environment—who have ideas about how to help understand and protect the planet.

EcoHack is about using technology to improve and understand our environment, and about creating things that have a positive impact, regardless of type or format.

Who It’s For

If you are interested in and concerned about the environment, technology, or both, EcoHack is for you. Do you have interesting ideas to share? Are you a developer, an expert on maps, or in data visualization? EcoHack is bringing together a diverse community of people to shape ideas and projects that can be developed in a day.
